He is survived by: his wife Arliss Gertsema of Slayton, MN; his children, Dean Gertsema of Slayton, MN, Jay Gertsema (Lindsay Owens) of Washington, DC, Sandra Lau of Tracy, MN and Dave Gertsema (Corrine) of Redwood Falls, MN; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Kory Burch, Kayla, Bruce Lavender, Courtney Lau, Christopher, Casie Bangasser, Samantha, Jacob and Sydney Gertsema; and his great grandchildren, Kora Burch, Grace Lavender, Bennett and Bryer Bangasser. He is also survived by his family, coffee with friends.
