We bid farewell to Alice G. Knutson (Slayton, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 4, 2025 at the age of 100. Alice touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parent America; her husband Norman; her son Mark Knutson; her grandchildren, Matthew Knutson and Sarah Carlson; and her siblings, James (Rose Scully), Joseph (Mae Scully), Florence (Quentin Nemmers), Rosella (Dayton Steinman), Leona (Ervin Kremer) and Eileen Toussaint.
She is survived by: her children, John (Patrice Knutson), Lynn (Gary Lidstone), Paul (Carla Knutson), Jane (Brian Windey) and Mary (David Kieffer); and her grandsons, Alec Lidstone, Mark Lidstone, Blake Windey, Hunter Windey, Nathan Knutson and Joseph Kieffer. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Ann's Church (2747 29th St, Slayton, MN 56172). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Ann's Church for Masses (Alice Knutson) or to Murray County Hospice.
