It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Dean Overman of Slayton, Minnesota, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Overman and Anne Joyce Overman (Schelhaas); his sister Delia Thompson; and his brother-in-law Gene Bleyenberg. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his daughter Amanda (Travis, family: Brooklynn, Mason, Max, Tasha); his grandchild Valentine of Pipestone, MN; and his siblings, Les Overman (Rose) of Iona, MN, Vera Hamilton (Marlin) of Jeffers, MN and Elaine Bleyenberg of Luverne, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home (510 5th St, Chandler, MN 56122). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
