It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Dean Swanson of Slayton, Minnesota, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Swanson and Ruth Priebe Swanson; and his son Michael Swanson (Larry Corwin). He is survived by: his wife Neva Swanson of Slayton, MN; his children, Anita Ruppert (John) of Currie, MN, Todd Swanson (Karen Schmidt), Jeff Swanson (Wendy) of Avoca, MN and Jim Swanson (Terri) of Hadley, MN; and his siblings, Carol Corwin of Windom, MN, Joe Swanson (Bev) of Fergus Falls, MN and Linda Sanow (Larry) of Hills, MN.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
