Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his brother Ted Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Anderson of Westbrook, MN; his son Paul Anderson (Kelli Isaacson) of Jordon, MN; his siblings, Katy (Denny Purcell) and Don (Julie Anderson); and his sister-in-law Marlys Anderson. He is also survived by three step grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Ann's Church (2747 29th St, Slayton, MN 56172). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
