We announce the death of Roger Hamann of Slayton, Minnesota, born in Luverne, Minnesota, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hamann and Marian Hunstad Hamann; and his siblings, Barb Olesen and Douglas Hamann. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Hamann of Slayton, MN; his children, Stacey Manitz (Ray Stephens), Jenny (Dave Bosma), Shari Hamann of Knoxville, IA, Stacy, Chad (Ronda Swenson) and Jody (Lonn Jackels); his siblings, Gene Hamann (Barb) of Hardwick, MN, Nancy Hamann of Aurora, CO and Neale Hamann of Hardwick, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Olesen of Hurley, SD and Diane Hamann of Luverne, MN. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
