She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Rothmeier and Theresa Rothmeier (Fink); her husband Edward Mathiowetz of Sleepy Eye; her siblings, Clarence, Richard Rothmeier and Delores Bossuyt; and her siblings-in-law, Devota Rothmeier and Donald Bossuyt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Sand (Mark) of Avon, MN, Teresa (Lavern Hauser) of New Ulm, MN and Joan Barkosky (Marc) of Amboy, MN; her grandchildren, Brandon Sand (Gemma), Bryan Sand (Erin Ellefson), Brittany Stay (Brian), Blake Sand (Thuan), Matthew, Jesse Sand, Seth Barkosky (Cherie), Cassaundra, Breanna, Victoria, Vanessa and Tabitha Barkosky; and her great grandchildren, Jordyn, Kyrah, Damian, Avery Sand, Aubree, Sebastian, Lila Stay, Evelynn and Grayson Barkosky.
