He is survived by: his wife Sally Romberg; his daughters, Lisa Romberg, Lori Ruthenbeck (Les) and Lana Strike (Philip); his grandchildren, Carl (Kayla), Julia, Zachary (Suraya), Luke, Lydia Strike (Noah Buck), Amber, David, Daniel and Amy Ruthenbeck; his great grandchildren, Cassandra, Emelia and Zahra Strike; his sister Jane Aukrust (Rich); and his siblings-in-law, Marion Romberg, Karen Beech, Susan Storm (Ralph), Paul Dummann (Melanie) and Paul Sieg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Grace Ev. Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye, Sleepy Eye Medical Center, or Sleepy Eye Area Historical Society.
