We bid farewell to Darleen M. Carroll of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 26, 2026 at the age of 95. Darleen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guido Appel and Frieda Appel (Kotten); her husband Paul T. Carroll of Mary's Catholic Church; her son Tommy; her siblings, Leon, Duane, Robert Appel and Virginia Gedney (Appel); her siblings-in-law, Donna, Shelia, Florence Appel and Austin Gedney (Bud); and her in-laws, Earl Carroll, Margaret Carroll, Zwaschka and Andrew Zwaschka.
She is survived by: her children, Michael of Savage, David of Mankato, Mary of Sleepy Eye and Nancy of Rochester; her grandchildren, Paul Carroll (Amanda), Diana Geller (Jason) and Mark Carroll (Beth); and her great grandchildren, Lyla, Lincoln Carroll, Joshua, Jameson Geller, Waylon and Tommy Carroll.
In lieu of flowers, Mass intentions or memorials to Divine Providence Community Home are preferred.
