He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Soukup and Mary Soukup (Lang); his wife Patricia Sellner of Mary's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Sylvester (Connie), Elmer (Hildegard), Victor, Harold, Lorraine Pelzel (Art) and Lucille Simonsen (Maurice).
He is survived by: his children, Pam Penkert (Paul) of New Ulm, Deb Buley (Pat) of Mankato and Tom Soukup (Ed Sepich) of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Joey Penkert (Kim), Jeremy Penkert (Katie), Chelsey Hoffmann (Jay) and Riley Buley (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Carter, Avery Penkert, Blaine, Beckett, Baylor Penkert, Everett, Lincoln Hoffmann and Elton; and his sisters-in-law, Barb Mielke of Brookings, SD and Mary Sellner of Rosemount. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
