We are sad to announce that, on September 1, 2025, at the age of 85, Ileeta Wellander of Soudan, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ileeta farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ileeta is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Thierer and Christina Thierer (Hummer); her husband Paul D. Wellander; and her brother Norman Thierer. She is survived by: her children, Don Wellander of Soudan and Carrie; her sister Charlene Weber (Billy) of Rochester, WI; and her grandchildren, Christopher Anderson of Palo, WI, Danielle Anderson of International Falls, MN and Aaron Wellander of Hibbing, MN.
