He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Gehrke and Evelyn Gehrke (Lubbers); and his sister Janice Oien. He is survived by: his children, Carrie Gehrke of Annandale and Brad Gehrke of Watkins; his grandchildren, Isaac Barbre, Avery Ahsenmacher, Henrik Gehrke and Victoria Gehrke; his brothers, Earl Gehrke (Gwen) of South Haven, Leon Gehrke (Brenda) of Paynesville and Byron Gehrke (Georgette Bloom) of Clearwater; and his brother-in-law Jack Oien of Ketchikan, AK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (13455 Bluffton Rd, South Haven, MN 55382). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
