Lanet Ann Sammons Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lanet Ann Sammons of Spicer, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2025 at the age of 71. In the vast expanse of eternity, Lanet shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lanet farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Messenbrink and Doris Messenbrink (Whiteford); and her brother Calvin Messenbrink. She is survived by: her husband Gary Sammons; her children, Karie Baumann (Troy) of St. Cloud and Travis Sammons of Willmar; her grandson Brodie Baumann; and her siblings, Randy Messenbrink of Willmar and LeAnn Messenbrink of Willmar.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home (1000 19th Ave SW, Willmar, MN 56201). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home (1000 19th Ave SW, Willmar, MN 56201). A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Cloverleaf Cemetery (3003 8th Ave NE, Willmar, MN 56201).
