It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randall H. Patton of Spicer, Minnesota, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hillard Patton and Marian Patton (Houser); his former life partner Janet; his sister Valri Roeben; and his daughter Carol.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Jo Patton (Swanson) of Spicer; his children, Brian Patton (Laurie) of Plymouth, Vicki Dudycha (Terry) of Carbondale, CO., Craig Patton (Kelly) of Orting, WA. and Colleen O'Brien (Kevin) of Amery, WI.; and his stepchildren, Brad Schmidt (Cheryl) of Willmar, Paul Schmidt (Bev) of Eagan, Jeff Schmidt (Berit Nelson) of St. Paul, Mark Schmidt (Sue) of Eagan, Nancy Schuler (Jeff) of St. Bonifacius and Meg Beausoleil (Joe) of Carrollton, TX.. He is also survived by seventeen step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren, besides many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to CentraCare Rice Hospice, Willmar Area Food Shelf or Vinje Lutheran Church are preferred.
