He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Netland and Vernita Netland (Wrigg); his stepfather Kermit Olson; his brothers, Bruce Netland (Merry) and Larry Netland (Louise); and his parents-in-law, Harlen and Delores Krattenmaker.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Krattenmaker; his children, Christopher Netland (Teresa) and Tracey Swanson (Craig); his grandchildren, Abigail Johnson (Eann), Hunter Swanson (Bailey), Chloe Swanson, Nathaniel Netland and Ava Netland; his brothers, Arlen Netland (Michelle) and Galen Netland (Martina); and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Loven (John) and Diane Gronseth (Gary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
