We announce the death of Elaine Marie Doely (Spring Grove, Minnesota), who passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 94. Elaine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Elaine will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Elaine will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Elaine’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Doely; her parents, Martin Thorson and Janet Thorson (Folkedahl); and her sister Norma Bentley (Rodney). She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Doely; and her brother Mark Thorson (Holly). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be given to the Coulee Region Humane Society.
