He is survived by: his wife Margaret Schmidt (Marge); his children, Shelly Strand (Mike) of East Bethel, MN, Jeff Schmidt of Andover, MN and Jennifer Crenshaw of Saint Francis, MN; his brother Mike Schmidt (Connie) of Wheaton, MN; his grandchildren, Alyssa (Joe), Ashley (Ben), Alexandra (Taylor), Connor, Molly (Ethan), Sydnee and Samuel; and his great grandchildren, Gwenyth, Libby, Caleb, Piper, Joanna, Theodore, Esme, Harrison and Louis. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
