He was predeceased by: his parents, Thora Gilmore, and Forrest Gilmore, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Olson; his children, David Gilmore (Rosanne), Catherine Long (Steve) and Tamara Sather (Scott); his grandchildren, Ashley Darkenwald (Casey), Keaton Long (Shay), Sonja Long, Simon Long, Anika Sather, Eric Sather and Lily Sather; his great grandchildren, Isabella Darkenwald, Kane Darkenwald and Odin Darkenwald; and his sister-in-law Betty Campbell (Vic). He is also survived by six nieces and a nephew.
