He was predeceased by : his parents, Catherine Horsman (Kinslow) and Elwin Horsman; and his sister Bonnie Kiehne. He is survived by : his wife Elaine Horsman (Link); his children, Pamela Abbott (Tom), Teresa House (Frank) and David Horsman Jr. of Spring Valley, MN.; his grandchildren, Jason Horsman (Tammy) of Owatonna, MN, Justin Horsman (Silke) of Spring Valley, Tiffany House (Brandon) of Spring Valley, Jared Hagstrom of Spring Valley and Tabitha House (Jessy) of Spring Valley; his great grandchildren, Owen Lecy, Brysen Horsman, Elora Strain, Lillian Horsman, Jaelee Hagstrom, Thomas Hagstrom, Jennah Hagstrom and Joshua Mulhern; and his sisters, Marsha Thorson and Debbie Carr of Spring Valley.

Despite the challenges of Alzheimer's disease David's spirit remained resilient.
