He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Sr. Hanson and Mary Hanson (McRae); and his siblings, Bob, Cecil, Lester, Alice, Agnes, Lois and Marge.

He is survived by : his children, Terry (Cindy) of Fountain, MN, Todd of LeRoy, Pat (Kathy) of Chatfield, MN and Brenda Hanson (Jason) of Rochester, MN.; his grandchildren, Jim (Andrea), John (Tiffany), Julie (Dallas), Marissa (Andrew), Christopher, Hunter, Kylie, Austin, Abby, Aaron, Aiden, Bethany and Presley; and his sisters, Mary and Marion. He is also survived by his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
