He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Vrieze and Winnie Vrieze; and his siblings, Avery, Calvin, Franklin, Eleanor, Harriet, Vivian and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Vrieze; his children, Brenda Arndorfer (Patrick), Debra Vrieze (Leroy Harty) and Kevin Vrieze (Carley); his grandchildren, Trenton, Justin, Kolton (Mady Dohlman), Brendon Arndorfer, Johanna, Logan and William Vrieze; his brother Floyd Vrieze; his sister-in-law Donna Vrieze; and his in-laws, Carroll Gilbertson (Anna), Barb Kufahl (John) and Alan Narveson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
