He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina Tienter of Madison, WI, Jane Nemoto (Tsuyoshi) of Tokyo, Japan and Grace Ertl (Marcus) of Preston, MN; and his siblings, Vivian Drinkall (Darrell) of Spring Valley, MN, Beverly Waibel of Chaska, MN, Curtis Tienter of Lime Springs, IA and Charlene Gates of Lime Springs, IA.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
