He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Bornholdt and Caryle Bornholdt (Martin); his wife Cheryl Bornholdt; his brother Rodney Bornholdt; and his stepchildren, Angella Bornholdt and Christine Schlee.
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Bornholdt, Todd Bornholdt, Darren Bornholdt and Lloyd Bornholdt; his stepdaughter Hope Himli; and his brother Randy Bornholdt. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hindt Funeral Home - Spring Valley (316 N Broadway Ave, Spring Valley, MN 55975).
