She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave Kuske and Agnes Kuske (Fritze); her husband Edward Wessel; her siblings, Wilmer, Eugene, Donald Kuske, Harriett Doepel, Dorothy Kohagen and Luella Wrege; and her grandson Jason Wessel.
She is survived by: her children, Lyn Wessel of Truman, Loel Wessel (Kathy) of Spring Valley and LeAnn Hilchen (Paul) of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Stephanie Hilchen of Ankeny, Benjamin Wessel (Jenny) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Victoria Hilchen (Keagan Gilbert) of Ankeny and Zachary Wessel (Haley) of Hartford, SD; her great grandchildren, Christopher Wessel and Lucy Wessel; her sister Ethelyn Moeller of Duluth; and her sisters-in-law, Bess Kuske of Willowbrook, IL, Mary Kuske of Frankenmuth, MI, Kathleen Wessel of St. Peter and Lucille Wessel of New Ulm. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
