Wendell Meyer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Meyer of Spring Valley, Minnesota, who passed away on June 25, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Meyer and Gaynol Meyer (Bauer); his wife Betty; his children, Kim Morris, Infant Rhonda Jo and Patrick; and his siblings, Loren Meyer, Norma Westphal and Phyllis Hendrickson.
He is survived by: his children, Vicky Mancilman (Carl) of Pine Island, Jacque Nelson (Roger) of Sargeant, Michelle "Shelly" Howard (Randy Haackenson) of Preston, Melissa Lund (Kevin) of Spring Valley, Wendell "Gene" (Danell) of Byron and Steven of Kasson; and his siblings, Gloria Richardson (Donnie) of Brownsdale and Merlin Meyer of Spring Valley. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and 2 step great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Griffin-Gray Funeral Home (201 3rd Ave NW, Stewartville, MN 55976). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East St. Olaf Cemetery.
