He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhardt Groebner and Rosella Groebner (Vogel); his siblings, Michael Groebner and Diane Marks; his parents-in-law, Donald and Violet Pingeon; his son-in-law Bobbie Albrecht; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Beerman and Tom Jenniges.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Pingeon; his children, Adam Groebner (Sarah), Angela Daun (Eric) and Amanda Olsem (Scott); his grandchildren, Julia, Daniel, Nathan, Nicolas Groebner, Jennifer Smith (Eli), Kimberly, Jason Piotter, Eva Daun, Jacob, Andrew Albrecht, Adriana, Braiden and Kenzie Olsem; his siblings, Gary Groebner (Deb), Larry Groebner (Ann), Jim Groebner (Elsie), David Groebner (Sandy), Richard Groebner (Jayna), Janice Hoffman (Patrick), Karen Jensen (Gary), Rose Hoecherl (Barry), Steve Marks, Deb Feser (Duane) and Julie Platz (Steve); and his siblings-in-law, Marlys Jenniges, Delbert Pingeon (Kay) and Dean Beerman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (303 N Cass Ave, Springfield, MN 56087).
