She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Turbes and Emma Turbes (Seidl); her husband Leonard; her daughter Kim; her daughter-in-law Lynette; and her siblings, William Turbes, Gloria Platz, Eugene Turbes and Mary Schmitz.
She is survived by: her children, James (Susan) of Portland, OR, Gary of Northfield, Darrell (Karen) of Eden Prairie, Brian (Mary) of Burnsville, Mark (Mary) of Northfield, Jodi Marcus (Curt) of Willmar, Mary Emanuele (Joseph) of Fairview, NC, Tom (Brenda) of Faribault, Cressie Etringer (Randy) of Millington, TN, Robert (Cathy) of Ventura, CA and Scott (Kelli) of Rosemount; her sister Janet Lenz (Fred) of New Ulm; and her siblings-in-law, Florence Fennern of Wabasso and Dale of Jeffers. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of St Dominic (104 Linden St N, Northfield, MN 55057). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Laura Baker School or the hospice organization of your choosing.
