He is survived by: his children, Donna Rothwell (Dennis) of Clara City, MN, Dennis Groff (Denise) of Fort Mohave, AZ, Deb Birch of Belgrade, MN, David Groff (Lori) of Perham, MN, Jake Groff (Emma), LIz Vedbraatan and Lacey Groff; his son-in-law Eric Amundson of Clarkfield, MN; his grandchildren, Brad Rothwell (Abby), Barry Rothwell, Charles Rothwell (Jazzmyn), Derek Amundson (Megan), Kyle Amundson, Justin Groff (Brandy), Jordon Brooks, Bailey Brooks, Austin Birch (Allie), Brady Birch, Cody Bertram, Chelsea Bertram, Tristan Groff (Emmee), Malia Maneval (Dylan), Joselynn, Logan, William and Tanner Vedbraatan; his great grandchildren, Titus, Jace, Khloe Rothwell, Emma Rothwell, Wyley Amundson, Maverick, Colt Groff, Bentley Hennger and Flynn Brooks; and his brother Sheldon Groff (Sharron).
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Springfield Community Center (33 S Cass Ave, Springfield, MN 56087). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Raphael Catholic Cemetery (112 W Van Dusen St, Springfield, MN 56087).
