He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Paul, Ramona Torell, Arnold and LauVa Johnson; and his uncle Corey Torell.

He is survived by : his parents, Gina Johnson (Torell) of Zimmerman and Chuck Johnson; his brother Lane Johnson (Madison Rud) of Nampa, ID; his uncle Greg Torell; his fiancé Keely Wicklund of Cambridge; his friends, Bob and Donna Turchi of Stanchfield; and also, Corey and Angie Wicklund of Cambridge. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cross Pointe Church (34047 Blackfoot St NW, Cambridge, MN 55008). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
