It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Perreault of Staples, Minnesota, born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Swanson and Inga Swanson; her husband Bob; and her siblings, Lila Morris, Clifford, Byron, Jim and Bill Swanson.
She is survived by : her children, Diane Nygaard (Marvin), Steven Perreault, Dale Perreault, Donald Perreault (Pam) and Barb Bergseth (Wally); her grandchildren, James Van Riper, Tina Lutteke (Jeremie), Thomas Van Riper (Katie Lallier), April Hyde (Joe), Rebecca Nygaard, Zachary Perreault, Arielle Perreault and Nathan Bergseth (Skylar Bengtson); her stepgrandchildren, Danielle and Greg Nygaard (Karen); her great grandchildren, Gabriella, Izabella, Jozie, Amelya Hyde, Jadyn, Teagan and Chayce Lutteke; and her stepgranddaughter Madeline Nygaard.
The pandemic was hard on everyone and she was greatly affected by the isolation, which caused her to decline more quickly.
