He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice "Pat" Crews; his daughter Teresa Crews; his parent Helen Crews (Jamison); and his sisters, Helen Owens and Dorthy Staples.
He is survived by: his son William "Bill" Crews (Terri) of Bemidji, MN; his granddaughter Chelsea Patterson (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Rae Crews and Nina Patterson.
He set up computer training programs for seniors under the Healthy Communities Partnership for 3 years through the Initiative Foundation.
