He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Funk and Esther Funk. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Juli Funk, Lori Halbersma (Alan) and Steve Funk (Gina); his grandchildren, Aaron Bloomstrom, Mariah Mckinney, Nichelle Halbersma, Rachel Halbersma, Crystal Halbersma, Gracie Funk and Brodie Funk; and his brother Ronnie Funk.
Memorials are preferred to the Berean Baptist Church, 24995 County Highway 6, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501, per David's wife Marilyn's request.
