She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Emory Olds and Bessie Hopkins Olds; her son Richard; and her siblings, Andrew, Bessie, Marcus, Margaret and Joan.

She is survived by : her husband George Henry Peterson; and her children, Gina Peterson, Roxann Dayton (Ed), Patrick Peterson (Tammy) and Lynnel Anderson (Mark). She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
