With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyda Cocking of Staples, Minnesota, who passed away on April 19, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Lyda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Motley Free Methodist Church (33 Wellwood St, Motley, MN 56466).
