With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maryann Petersen of Staples, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Steffes and Inez Steffes (Carr); and her brother John "Jack" Steffes. She is survived by: her children, Curtis Petersen and Cyle Petersen (Lee); her grandchildren, Darwin, Sabrina, Dylan and Jessica Petersen; her sister Rita Poole; and her sibling's children, Deana Petron, Lori Aasen, Rodney Steffes, Steven Steffes and Holly Holton. She is also survived by friends, and the many animals.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services - Staples (309 4th St SW, Staples, MN 56479).
