He was predeceased by: his parents, Selmer Peterson and Ida Peterson (Stuber); and his stepson Mark Weishalla. He is survived by: his wife Barb; his brother Donald Peterson (LaVonne); his sons, Ricky Peterson, Ray Peterson (Marene), Dale Peterson (Connie), Paul Peterson (Dawn) and Peter Peterson; and his stepchildren, Gary Weishalla (Kristine), Jeff Weishalla (Heidi), Roger Weishalla (Judy), Randy Weishalla (Sue), Tom Weishalla, Suzanne Smith (Dan) and Laurie Imdieke (Jerry). He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
