She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mertens and Lena Mertens (Robinson); her stepfather Art Meinhardt; her sister Jeanie; her niece Doreen; and her brother-in-law Dick.
She is survived by: her husband Walt; her children, Steve Wilson (Rose) of Iowa Falls, IA, Wayne Wilson (Anita) of Staples, Kathy Wilson of Staples and Larry Wilson (Patty) of Waxhaw, NC.; and her sister-in-law Marilynn Wilson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church-Staples (430 12th St NE, Staples, MN 56479). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
