He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Stadsvold and Verna Stadsvold (Espelien). He is survived by: his wife Deb Johnson; his children, Cory Stadsvold (Jennae) of Elbow Lake and Bobbi Jo Stadsvold (Brandon Burke) of River Falls, WI; his grandchildren, Triston Korkowski (Mickey) of Litchfield, Benton Stadsvold of Gillette, WY, Kelsey Stadsvold of Elbow Lake and Samantha Jo Stadsvold-Burke of River Falls, WI; his great grandchildren, Teddy Dockter-Korkowski and Ellie Dockter-Korkowski of Litchfield; his siblings, Dennis Stadsvold (Georgianna) of Starbuck, Jim Stadsvold of Eagan, Judy Johnson (Mike) of Starbuck and Mary Erickson (Mike) of Starbuck; and his in-laws, Emery Johnson (Barb), Dennis Johnson (Roxanne), Mary Ettesvold (Curt) and Janet Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Starbuck Funeral Home (106 W 4th St, Starbuck, MN 56381). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Indherred Lutheran Church (17110 MN-114, Starbuck, MN 56381). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Glacial Ridge Hospice.
