He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allan Campbell and Bernadine Louise Campbell (Bramwell); his son Cody James Campbell; his nephew Eric Bramwell Jackson; his father-in-law Col. James Cannon; and his brothers-in-law, James Leslie Cannon and Xander Lee Cannon.
He is survived by: his wife Joanna Lee Campbell of Starbuck, MN; his son William Jay Campbell of Starbuck, MN; his siblings, John Colby Campbell (Debra Jean) of Starbuck, MN, Joseph Lee Campbell (Sandra Rena) of Las Vegas, Jeffery Hugh Campbell (Melanie Sievert) of Starbuck, MN, Jerry Bramwell Campbell of Starbuck, MN and Jane Mary Jackson (Robert Meeks) of Hotchkiss, Colorado; his mother-in-law Dorothy Lee Cannon of Starbuck; and his sister-in-law Chiyo Cannon of Leesburg, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (34241 Co Rd 18, Starbuck, MN 56381).
