Ethel Thorlacius Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Thorlacius of Stephen, Minnesota, born in Hensel, North Dakota, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Kristjan "Chris" Byron and Snolaug Maria "Mollie" Byron (Hillman); her husband Harlan; her siblings, John, Olive, Chris and Elizabeth (Jensen); and her grandson John Thorlacius.

She is survived by : her siblings, Betty and Arnold "Jim" Byron (Jean); her sister-in-law Cecelia Byron; her children, Julia Douglas, Virginia "Nina" Thorlacius, Eric Thorlacius (Emma), Donald Thorlacius (Kris), Marilyn Gregoire (Jon) and Emily Thorlacius Curry (Rolland); her grandsons, Nathan and Matthew Douglas; and her children, Jessica, Brian, Shelby Thorlacius, Daniel, Kristjan Thorlacius, Adam, Ben, Jennifer Gregoire, Lincoln, Laura and Lonna Nybladh. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
