It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Gilbert of Stephen, Minnesota, born in Litchfield, Minnesota, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephen Gilbert and Shirley Gilbert (Hansen); his brothers, Stephen, John, Richard and Gary Gilbert; and his nephew Dylan Gilbert.
He is survived by : his wife Sharon Gilbert (Powlish); his children, Jessica Gilbert of Atwater, Samantha Gilbert (Gabe) of Willmar and Sean Gilbert (Courtney) of Grove City; his granddaughter Adelaide of Atwater; his siblings, Eugene Gilbert of Fridley and Sharon Gilbert of Litchfield; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Gilbert of California and Sharon Gilbert of Idaho. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
