He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Kuznia and Elizabeth Kuznia (Gruhot); his son Kent; his grandson Aaron Bazey; and his siblings, Rose Ann Gryskiewicz, Paul and Andrew.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Buchner; his children, David Kuznia (Cindy) of Stephen, MN, Carolyn "Tutti" Omdahl (Danny) of Warren, MN, Kevin Kuznia (Becky) of Fargo, ND and Kathy Bazey (Todd) of Stephen, MN; and his sisters, Esther Storeby and Delores Kuznia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
