He was predeceased by : his wife Doris Maxwell; his son John; his parents, Leonard Dagoberg and Ida Dagoberg; and his siblings, Wanda, Helen and Donald.

He is survived by : his children, Michael Dagoberg (Hai), Mark Dagoberg, Susan MacMillan (Scott) and Cathy Childers; his grandchildren, Sarah Dagoberg, Elizabeth Dagoberg, Brock Childers and Megan Childers; and his great-grandkids, Braden Dagoberg, Jackson Dagoberg, Elliot Weber and Tatum Weber.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Lutheran Church, the Stephen Ambulance, or the Stephen Cemetery.
