He is survived by: his children, Shawn Wendt of Minneapolis and Annie Avilas; his siblings, Cheralyn Runkle (Dennis) of Racine, Jean McClellan (Glenn) of West Salem and Chuck Wendt of Stewartville; and his niece Penny Thompson. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
