He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Briese and Helen Briese (Betcher); his son John; and his siblings, Wayne Briese (Lucy) and Nancy Henke (John).
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Kathy LaBeaux (David) of Talmoon, MN and Kari Nelson (Leif) of Rochester, MN; his daughter-in-law Micky Briese of High Forest, MN; his grandchildren, Jackie Hrapsky (Chris), Jessie Magnuson (Erik), Drew LaBeaux, Justin LaBeaux (Corinne) and Sydney Briese; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, Nolan, Brooks Hrapsky, Sophie and Bella Magnuson.
