She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Olivia Rubina Hagen and Olaus Larson; her children, Robert Schwendeman, Bonnie Maffitt (Neil), Jeanne Quarstad and Jill Schwendeman (Tiger Heise); her grandchildren, Jim (Heather), Erik (Lorena), Karissa (Jon), Jacob (Kayla), Daniel, Soren, Skyler and Julian; and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Landon, Annaka, Jack, Remy and Hannah. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews & family members.

Memorials preferred to Boutwells Landing/Gables for patient enrichment; Immanuel Lutheran (St. Paul), or Our Savior's Lutheran (Stillwater).
