He was predeceased by: his wife Verna H. Bloom; his parents, Irving E. Bloom and Dorthy Bloom (Mulvey); and his siblings, Dulcie Ramey (Joe), Helen Cool (Dick) and Rozella Bloom.
He is survived by: his brother Steve Bloom (Dawn); his children, Sue Malecha (Denny), Sheri Garcia (Mike) and John Bloom (Janice); his grandchildren, Ed Garcia (Tabitha), Nick Garcia (Mel), Tricia O'Dell (Scott), John Malecha (Jon), Dale Malecha (Hallie) and Katie Bloom; and his great grandchildren, Xander Garcia and Allegra Garcia.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association directly or to the family who will make donations to the Alzheimer's association and to The Moments Memory Care in Lakeville and Minnesota Hospice who passionately and lovingly cared for Irv in his last days.
