She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Schlagel and Eleanor Schlagel; her uncle Red Koniar; and her aunt Irene Koniar. She is survived by: her husband Bill Gary; her children, Brenda Pace (John) and Scott Gary (Michelle); her grandchildren, Marion Bigbee (Noah) and John Michael Pace; her stepgrandchildren, Thomas Grimes (Danielle) and Theresa Goodsell (Chad); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Aiden and Emily Goodsell; and her brothers, Jerry Schlagel (Nancy), John Schlagel (Marilyn) and Jim Schlagel (Dee). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help Bill defray the costs of the funeral.
