John Slaughter Obituary
The passing of John Slaughter of Stillwater, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 21, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John Slaughter to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Helen (Katner); his wife Jeanette Jungbauer; his daughter Julie; and his siblings, Ruth, Mary and Dave.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Murphy (Matt Burt), Steve Slaughter (Sheryl), Mary Dick (Jerry) and Sue Day (Brian); and his close friend Aljean Ostrand. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lake Elmo Event Center (3712 Layton Ave N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Minneapolis VA.
