She was predeceased by : her parents, Franklin Stevens and Portia Stevens (Weeks). She is survived by : her husband Dean Shafer; her children, Dan Shafer (Kelly), Laura Meyer (Chris) and Lisa Shafer (Tony Goldenstein); her siblings, Lael Carter (Stevens) and Everett Stevens; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Mason Shafer, Lilian, Sam, George Meyer, Elsa and Lila Shafer-Goldenstein.
